AFL heartthrob Bailey Smith is believed to have split from his girlfriend of two years, Gemma Dawkins.
The 23-year-old Western Bulldogs star quietly split from Gemma earlier this year, according to Herald of the Sun.
Bailey first confirmed their romance in May 2022 and made their public debut as a couple at Derby Day 2023 in Melbourne.
The private couple have kept their relationship relatively secret ever since, but are now believed to have gone their separate ways.
They appear to have unfollowed each other on Instagram and Bailey last shared a photo with Gemma in February during a romantic trip to New York.
Bailey’s friends have rallied to support him and recently joined him for a fun-filled night at Melbourne hotspot The Commons Collective.
The midfielder, who made his AFL debut in 2019, first confirmed he was in a relationship during an interview in May 2022.
In a discreet confession, he told how his girlfriend’s father had seen him shirtless in advertisements for the fashion brand Cotton On.

“It’s funny. My girlfriend’s dad walks by every day,” he revealed. “It’s hilarious… It’s interesting, but I don’t pay too much attention to it (I just focus on football).”
Later that year, Bailey was seen showing his love for Gemma when they were spotted holding hands during a walk.
The low-key pair finally made their public debut at Derby Day 2023 in Melbourne.

Bailey’s 2024 AFL season was completely derailed by a shock knee injury midway through a training session with the Western Bulldogs in December.

Subsequent studies confirmed that he had injured his anterior cruciate ligament, which put his entire football career at a crossroads.
Bailey took to Instagram after hearing the terrible news and posted a photo of himself working out with the caption: “Ahh well it’ll be okay,” with a blue heart emoji.
“We are all very disappointed for Bailey and have great empathy for him,” Bulldogs director of football Chris Grant said.
‘The whole club will come together to support him during this difficult time as he begins his rehabilitation journey.’
At the time, his supporters sent him their best wishes and urged him to stay at the club amid continued speculation about his future.
Amid rumours he could move to another club, it has been claimed the Bulldogs have offered him a two-year contract extension, which could keep him until 2027.
