Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart have shown there’s no beef with their Home and Away co-stars, after sharing sweet tributes to co-star Ray Meagher.
The actors posted gushing messages on Instagram to celebrate Ray’s 80th birthday last week, posing alongside several of their fellow actors.
Alongside a series of photos of the couple, Ada wrote: ‘I know everyone calls him an Australian icon but to me Ray you are that and more…
“You are a father figure, a friend, a financial planner, and a holistic life coach. You are the first person I think of when I need advice or have news to share with you.”
She continued: ‘I look up to you in every way, you really are my role model and the best person to have a laugh and a drink with.’
“Happy 80th birthday, Ray! And thank you for your love and support, and for always being so kind to my family and caring so much. We all truly adore you!”
James also shared similar photos on his own Instagram page, along with a caption that read: ‘Happy birthday, buddy!’
The warm-hearted display has poured cold water on recent rumours of a “rift” within the cast since Ada and James went public with their romance.

The couple have reportedly failed to get their Home and Away co-stars’ approval for their new romance.
His affections have not been well received by everyone in the cast, it has been reported. Women’s Day recently.
A source close to the actress reportedly told the publication that stars Lynne McGranger, Ray Meagher and Emily Symone are “keeping an eye” on Ada.
“Most people are worried about Ada. Ray and Lynne are not the type to get involved in other people’s business and will keep a low profile, but they will have raised their concerns with her,” the source said.
They added that the TV actress has “completely changed” her opinion of James following his failed relationships with his former co-stars Isabella Giovinazzo and Sarah Roberts, his now ex-wife.
The father-of-one seems to have a habit of getting romantically involved with his on-screen partners, and the hunk struck up a romance with Isabella in 2016, after the pair began playing an on-screen couple, but things fell through in 2017.
Just over a month after their split, James was rumoured to have already moved on with his now ex-wife Sarah, who was a newcomer to the series at the time, and the pair also became an on-screen couple shortly after.
“(Ada) is insisting to everyone that he is no longer the man she thought he was and that he has really changed,” the source said.
They went on to say that Ada and James’ ex-wife Sarah, who officially announced their divorce last month, “were very good friends” and even “shared a dressing room” when they starred together in Home and Away, adding to their surprise at the veteran actress’ change of heart.
This comes after shocking photos emerged of Ada, 47, and James, 48, displaying their affection in public on Anzac Day last month.
The pair, who play lovers in Home and Away, enjoyed a drink together at The Royal Hotel.

They were later seen getting cozy outside the establishment after leaving the venue.
James was also pictured leaving his Coogee apartment with a suitcase and taking an Uber to the Swissotel Hotel in Sydney’s CBD on April 24.
There was also a recent sighting of the couple at a movie theater, where moviegoers said they were “not shy” about showing their affection publicly..
Ada was married to Chrys Xipolitas for nine years. They reportedly briefly split in 2010 before reconciling and welcoming a son, Johnas, in August 2012.
The actress, who also starred in the 90s soap opera Heartbreak High, split from Xipolitas and dated businessman Rigby for about eight years.
They split up sometime in late 2023.
The news that James and Ada are getting closer comes after James’ ex, Home and Away alum Sarah, confirmed to Stellar magazine that the couple had divorced..

“I just want to say that I’m divorced,” she told the publication.
‘Sometimes people grow apart and that’s okay… I got to a point where I realized I couldn’t grow the way I wanted to within this particular relationship.’
Sarah and James tied the knot in 2019 after getting engaged in November 2018. He had proposed to her at the restaurant where they had their first date a year earlier.
The couple tied the knot at Luttrellstown Castle, just outside Dublin, Ireland, in July 2019.
She starred in Home and Away from 2017 to 2021, before stepping away to focus on her film career.
James continues to star in the Australian soap opera, in which he plays Justin Morgan.
The actor shares 11-year-old daughter Scout with ex-fiancée Jessica Marais, whom he met on the set of Packed to the Rafters in 2009.
