That’s right, Destry’s father is 77-year-old Steven Spielberg (both pictured in 2017).
Destry Allyn Spielberg’s father is world-renowned American filmmaker Steven Spielberg, 77.
Steven and his wife, Kate Capshaw, 70, are also parents to Mikaela George, 28, Sasha, 34, Sawyer, 32, Theo, 36, and Jessica, 48.
As the daughter of American filmmaker Steven, Destry has directed several films, including Mass Hysteria and Nerds, while her latest film, Please Don’t Feed the Children, was released on Thursday.
He has also starred in I Know This Much is True and the critically acclaimed Licorice Pizza and has worked as a production assistant and on props for some of his father’s films.
After presenting his first feature film at the Sitges International Film Festival on Friday, he spoke about his goals for the film, stating that he wanted to bring a cast of new faces to Hollywood.
The project, led by Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery and Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito, follows a gang of orphans who travel south in search of a new life after a viral outbreak decimates the nation’s adult population.
However, they find themselves at the mercy of a psychotic woman who hides a dangerous secret.
When casting the film, Destry worked with renowned casting director Anne McCarthy, who worked on The Conjuring, to find new, young actors eager to break into Hollywood.
Destry looked incredible as she added inches to her frame in a pair of black platform boots and posed with Breaking Bad star Giancarlo Esposito at the event.
She opted for subtle makeup and styled her long blonde bob with loose waves for the event.
She was also joined by Emma Meisel, who cut an elegant figure in a yellow floral-print minidress.
Steven and his wife, Kate Capshaw, 70, are also parents to Mikaela George, 28, Sasha, 34, Sawyer, 32, Theo, 36, and Jessica, 48 (both pictured in September) .
she said Deadline: “My goal was to bring in as many new faces as possible; that’s my goal as a director in the future.”
‘I want to start a career; I’m tired of seeing movies that lack young talent. “There are so many young, talented actors who are not seen.”
‘I think the whole system is bullshit and I don’t understand why the industry is so exclusive. It’s nonsense.

The film is also produced by Jason Dubin and his Perry Street Films, Josh Kesselman, Michael Hagerty, Bill Kenwright and Daniel Ryniker.
The low-budget film initially had some financing setbacks, which meant the project was delayed from April 2023 to October and November 2023, amid writer and actor strikes.
However, the project was granted a filming waiver and wrapped filming for 18 days in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
