A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a 19-year-old man in broad daylight following an altercation near a school in Brisbane’s south.
Police allege the 17-year-old became involved in a fight with the man outside a property in Acacia Ridge at around 2.30pm on Friday.
The teen allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times.
Emergency services took the 19-year-old to Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 17-year-old Acacia Ridge boy has since been charged with one count each of attempted murder, threat of violence and possession of a knife in public.
He is remanded in custody and will appear in court again in June.
The Acacia Ridge Criminal Investigation Division is seeking the assistance of anyone who traveled on Gregory St between 2 and 2:30 pm on Friday, May 17 to review their dash cam footage.
The alleged attack comes amid renewed attention to knife crime in Queensland, with the state government pledging to improve Jack’s Law and other police powers.
