Abbie Chatfield has slammed ticket sellers for allegedly informing fans about show cancellations via “cold and random” text messages.

The FBoy Island host’s upcoming Trauma Dump national tour has been hit by difficulties due to poor ticket sales, forcing her to cancel a number of shows.

Abbie, 29, has so far confirmed she has cancelled four of her 13 scheduled shows – Ballarat, Port Macquarie, Caloundra and Cairns – due to low demand.

Now, Abbie has taken to Instagram to rant about the way the cancellations were allegedly communicated, sharing a screenshot a fan sent of the offending text.

The blunt message read: “Hi Courtney Frith. The date with Abbie Chatfield on 8th November 2024 has been cancelled.”

Responding to the fan, Abbie said she “felt sick” about the Ballarat cancellation and shared her disappointment.

“I’m so sorry. I feel bad,” she wrote. “I wish I could do all the shows. I was really looking forward to going to Ballarat.”

He later apologised to his fans in Ballarat and Cairns for the latest cancellations, while criticising venues and ticket sellers for not communicating the news better to fans.

“Also, I’m very confused as to why Ballarat ticket holders simply received a text message with no apology or information,” Abbie wrote in the lengthy post.

‘I have no control over the details of what is communicated from venues or ticket sellers, BUT I asked and was told I would receive an email.

‘I was told that for the other cancelled shows (Cairns and Port Mac) there would be an email, but I am now unsure about that.

Abbie later raged that the lack of communication was “not okay” and once again apologized to fans for not being able to keep up with scheduled shows.

“I think every venue has different cancellation systems, but I’m just figuring it out right now because I don’t like it at all,” he continued.

In another post, he criticized venues and ticket sellers for not communicating the news better to fans.

'Anyway, I'm saying all this to apologize for the way this was communicated if you received a random, cold text announcing the cancellation,' she wrote.

“It’s shocking for me to read, and even more so for you who support me and were looking forward to the show as much as I was. It’s just not what you’d expect,” he added.

This is the second time in a year that Abbie has hit the road with the Trauma Dump Tour after a successful run of concerts in 2023.

“I loved unloading my traumas on you all so much that I had to do a regional tour!” Abbie explained in a post first announcing the upcoming run of shows.

‘Same show as last year, perfected for my regional babies! Can’t wait to see you all.’

Last year, Abbie surprised her fans with her candid live chats as she opened up about vulnerable stories about her long dating history.

A highlight of the show was Abbie’s interaction with her live audience via text messages.
