Homicide detectives working on the 2022 disappearance of Jessica Zrinski have begun a three-day search in the famous Jenolan Caves area of New South Wales as part of ongoing investigations.
Zrinski, then aged 30, disappeared after getting into a blue Holden Commodore at a pub in Greenfield Park, south-west Sydney, on Monday 28 November 2022.
The car is believed to have been traveling west on the M4 and Great Western Highway towards the Blue Mountains.
Police were alerted on Friday, December 3, 2022 when family members were unable to locate or contact her.
Strike Force Keder investigators on Friday began a bushland search in the Jenolan State Forest, about 13 kilometers north of the Jenolan Caves.
The search is expected to last three days with the help of the Dog Squad, the Bomb Disposal and Rescue Unit and other volunteers.

Strike Force Keder investigators on Friday began a bushland search in the Jenolan State Forest, about 13 kilometers north of the Jenolan Caves.
The new search follows a three-day bushland search in Hampton State Forest, about 115 kilometers west of Sydney in the New South Wales Central Plateau, in May 2023.
The driver of the Commodore, who has never been publicly identified, was unable to assist in the investigation after detectives seized and examined the car.
Police have issued several appeals during the time Zrinski was missing and announced a $500,000 reward for information in November 2023.
Ms Zrinski was last seen in the parking lot of the Greenfield Tavern on Mimosa Road before getting into the blue Holden Commodore about 10 minutes later.
Police released CCTV footage of the vehicle driving through Horsley Park at around 10.15pm that night and Mount Victoria just before 9am the following morning.
Police believe Ms Zrinski was alive in the Commodore mid-morning on Tuesday, November 29 before disappearing without a trace.
Ms Zrinski was last seen in the car park of the Greenfield Tavern on Mimosa Road before getting into the blue Holden Commodore (pictured) about 10 minutes later.
In the CCTV footage, she is sitting in the passenger seat of the car at a gas station while a man in a gray T-shirt, black pants and sneakers gets out.
He fills the car with gas before going in to pay and returns with two bottles of Coca-Cola.
In footage of the car in Mount Victoria the next day, the car is seen pulling into another petrol station with Ms Zrinski in the passenger seat.
Disturbing CCTV of Ms Zrinski’s last known movements was released on 28 November.
She was wearing an orange T-shirt, long black tights, flat shoes and a cream-colored purse at the time.
Ms Zrinski is described as being of Caucasian appearance, is 165cm tall, slim and has blonde hair.
He has tattoos on his right index finger, left wrist and the back of his neck.
