Tim Tszyu has branded Sebastian Fundora unprofessional after being shocked when he heard a detail about the American giant’s preparation for his title fight in Las Vegas on Sunday.

The Australian will give away an incredible 23cm in height to the American when they meet for the WBO and WBC super welterweight titles at the MGM Grand casino, but one telling detail shows their preparations for the fight have been radically different.

Tszyu had seen photos on social media of Fundora eating junk food just two days after the fight, and before the couple intervened.

“Fundora eating pizza, burgers… I was in shock,” Tszyu said on Friday Australian time.

The pair are weighing in for Saturday's fight and judging by what the American has been putting into his body lately, he could struggle to make the 69.85kg limit.

‘As a professional athlete, two days after your fight and you’re eating shit like that? It baffles me.

‘I live and breathe this sport and I live by that code of disciplined lifestyle.

“Professionals don’t do that.”

Before the junk food revelation became public, Fundora gave an interview in which he detailed his usual pre-fight diet, saying he eats three eggs and a bacon omelet with salsa verde for breakfast, pasta with salsa meat and garlic bread for lunch, and “yes For me, steak and hot chips for dinner.

The American boasts of his fast metabolism, which allows him to exceed the 69.85kg limit for the super welterweight division despite measuring a staggering height of 197cm.

On the other hand, Tszyu has his own fight chef, Omar Iferd, who makes sure he eats nutritious meals while stripping to gain weight.

A win over Fundora will open some very important doors for Tszyu, who is about to get some big fights.

This week, former unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Junior tweeted that he was headed to Las Vegas. I want the winner!, and he added a video of a shark to illustrate that he is looking for Tszyu.

Pound-for-pound king Terence Crawford is also reported to be in talks with Tszyu’s camp about a mega fight should the ‘Soul Taker’ get the job done against Fundora.

Crawford defeated fellow American Spence in the ninth round of a blockbuster last July to become undisputed welterweight champion, but both are looking to move up a division.

Tszyu beat Brian Mendoza to a unanimous decision in their last fight, and Mendoza is the only man to beat Fundora, knocking him out in stunning fashion last April.

Tszyu said that once he had taken care of Fundora, his next move would be the one that made the most financial sense.

He said he was enjoying that the script had changed and now he was the big name being mentioned.

“I’ve loved Errol Spence for a long time, we’ve had history and he’s called me some things, so I’d love that fight too,” the 29-year-old said.

‘Come to daddy… it feels good and that’s the reason we went down the route of getting the belts because they come to you.

“I was in a position where I was chasing, chasing, chasing (Jermell) Charlo, and now they’re coming at me.

“These are the moments I’ve always wanted, for the big names to fight.”
