“I’m really sorry I had to leave in the middle of the show because I had a little accident in the meantime, we couldn’t write it.

“I literally just walked in the door. I opened the door with my head down and I was going pretty fast and it just hit me right in the head so I had to get off mid-show and I won’t do it tonight either because it’s bleeding a little more.

“But hopefully by tomorrow night I’ll be back with a cast on it and I can just hide it with foundation.”

“You couldn’t write it, could you. I continue on Dancing On Ice for two and a half months, I do the head banger, I do all the lifts, I’m on two blades on the ice and it’s a door that gets me out.’

Amber then shared another photo on Instagram on Thursday, cuddled up next to her recovering dog on her couch and gave fans an update on her health.

She wrote: “A recovery day. The cuts were cleaned this morning and re-dressed by my wonderful GP. It’s still a very open set-up but I hope I’ll be back on stage by tomorrow!’
