An Australian shopper couldn’t believe her luck when she bagged a huge grocery order at a great price – and the food will last her for weeks.

The Melbourne shopper was shocked when she was able to purchase four kilos of meat, a supply of vegetables and several staples for just $62.59.

She went to Preston Market and Aldi, but was initially worried she wouldn’t be able to make ends meet before her next payday.

“I was down to my last $200 (for the next 10 days) after my savings were wiped out by two unexpected costs,” she shared on Reddit.

The woman also harvested eggs, carrots, 5 kg of potatoes, 2 kg of onions, sweet potatoes, celery, cabbage, frozen spinach, canned tomatoes and spring onions, as well as fruits like apples and bananas.

Plus, she stocked up on tomato sauce, kewpie mayonnaise, pasta, bread, tuna, coconut milk and toilet paper.

“This store will be used to make bulk curry, okonomiyaki, pork noodles and pasta dishes to last for a while,” she said.

Hundreds of other Australians applauded his harvest and revealed their own changing habits.
