Controversial Married At First Sight couple Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams are still together despite the odds against them.
And fans took to social media to share their shocking theories about why Jack, 34, and Tori, 27, went ahead with the experiment.
One fan speculated that “Jack and Tori have some sort of pact.”
“The only thing that I think makes sense is that Jack must have said to Tori from day one, ‘Hey, look, I’m not that into you, but if you stick by me and defend our relationship through this experience, you will win. all my respect and we will reach the end of the experiment,” they said.
Fans were quick to comment on the theory and agreed.
Married At First Sight fans have taken to social media to share their shocking theories about why Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams are still on the show.
“The smirk on their faces last night when they sat down on the couch confirmed my suspicion. Clearly I’m just trying to get famous,” one wrote.
“Maybe they get paid more to play the bad guy until the end,” another fan suggested.
‘Certainly! I’ve said it from the beginning, it’s the only thing that makes sense,” said another.
Others pointed out that relationship expert John Aitken doesn’t believe it either.
“He can see they’re playing it,” they said.
During Sunday night’s episode, relationship expert Aiken, 53, became frustrated with groom Jack, 34, after failing to adequately express his feelings to his wife Tori, 27.
One fan speculated that “Jack and Tori have some sort of pact.”
“Tonight, you’re going to open up. Jack, I need to know what you think about Tori because I don’t believe it,” he said.
‘I love her so much. I’ve developed serious feelings for Tori, she makes me feel good,” Jack replied.
However, Aiken was having none of it and told Jack he didn’t want to hear sweet words like “fine and okay” – and asked for genuine emotions.
‘Feelings? Something I’ve told Tori several times, when I’m with her, I sleep very well,” Jack replied.
Her strange response prompted Aiken to ask Tori if she was satisfied with Jack’s words.
“I think you could describe it a little better than that,” Tori told him.
“The smirk on their faces last night when they sat down on the couch confirmed my suspicion. Clearly I’m just trying to get famous,” one wrote.
Relationship expert Mel Schilling, 52, later said her own husband would call her his “soul mate” and say he felt “deeply connected” with her – and she wondered why Jack hadn’t not used similar language.
Tori said that although she was not in love with Jack, she felt “safe” with him and was willing to continue their relationship, with both voting to “Stay”.
Married at First Sight continues Monday at 7:30 p.m. on Channel Nine.
