Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara have two homes for sale: one in Denver and one in Seattle.

Russell Wilson faces a multimillion-dollar headache in the coming months as he tries to sell two high-value mansions ahead of his release from the Denver Broncos.

It was announced Monday that the Broncos will release the quarterback after his disastrous two years in Colorado.

Wilson won just 11 of his 30 starts and witnessed the coaching and quarterback carousels continue to move in Denver, which has not been to the playoffs since winning Super Bowl 50 in 2016.

But now Wilson and his wife Ciara have two huge mansions to sell, and the couple still can’t move out of their home in Washington after he leaves the Seattle Seahawks in 2022.

Last week news emerged that Wilson is listening offers and gives tours to potential buyers for your home in the Denver area.

Wilson and his Ciara paid $25 million for the home in April 2022, which at the time set the record for the most expensive home sale in the area, which had previously been $16 million.

There is currently no price tag on Realtor.com listing it as “off market.”

The home spans 20,000 square feet and five acres and features four bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

It also has dressing rooms, offices and bathrooms for him and her according to the previous listing of the property.

There is also an indoor swimming pool, a basketball court and a guest apartment with its own kitchen on the property.

Wilson is hoping for a quick sale as he awaits updates on his NFL future. There will surely be offers from teams that miss out on one of the top quarterback prospects in next month’s draft.

But his Denver home isn’t the only asset Wilson wants to move, as his Washington home also remains on the market.

The property in Bellevue, a city across Lake Washington from Seattle, went on the market in spring 2022 for $28 million and has since dropped to $26 million.

The picturesque two-story home sits on 1.89 acres and features a whopping six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

The house is even equipped with a tram that takes passengers to the lake shore.

It has great views of Lake Washington, a game room, movie theater, kids’ playroom, fitness center, and access to a private marina on the water.

A dock built at the water’s edge accommodates four boats, including a 60-foot yacht.

Things haven’t gone well for Wilson since leaving Bellevue for Denver in a trade that saw the Broncos send four premium draft picks and three players to Seattle in 2022.

Acquiring Wilson turned out to be the biggest miscalculation in franchise history, as the team was set to cut ties with him just 19 months after he signed a five-year, $245 million contract extension.

Wilson endured his worst season under Nathaniel Hackett in 2022 and bounced back under Sean Payton in 2023 only to be benched for Jarrett Stidham for the final two games.

On Monday, the Broncos informed Wilson that they would release him next week when the new league year begins.

“We thank Russell for his contributions and dedication to our team and community and wish him the best as he continues his career,” said the published team on their social media channels, adding, “We are excited to improve this offseason and will have the flexibility to improve through the draft and free agency.”

The Broncos still owe Wilson his $39 million 2024 salary minus what he would sign with another team, which would likely be the veteran’s minimum salary of $1.21 million.

The Broncos will also take a record $89 million hit in salary cap charges over the next two seasons, affecting their roster construction as they look to end an eight-year playoff drought that has featured six head coaches. and 13 starting quarterbacks.

Wilson thanked Broncos fans and his teammates in social media posts, and expressed individual thanks to some of them, including left tackle Garett Bolles and receivers Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Brandon Johnson and Tim Patrick.

‘Court, I’ll never forget your one-handed catch in Los Angeles and your toe kick in Buffalo. Bolles, you always have your arm around me, win or lose. Brandon Johnson, your tireless work ethic. Jeu, you’re catching and aiming high for that ball in KC! Wilson wrote in X.
