It has been claimed that Matt LeBlanc has sparked concerns that he may be “disintegrating” a year after the death of his Friends co-star Matthew Perry.
The actor, 57, has rarely been seen in public since Matthew’s death on October 28, 2023 and some of his fellow Friends actors are said to be worried about him.
Matt sparked concern among his friends after his disheveled appearance in September, according to an InTouch Weekly source, after TMZ obtained photos of him.
The source claimed that stars like Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox have expressed concern about Matt.
The two stars are said to have made an effort to spend more time with him in recent weeks and ensure that at least one of them keeps an eye on him.

He’s even stayed over a couple of times. And both she and Courteney have been in touch to make sure at least one of them is around to keep an eye on him.
Matt is no doubt still mourning the death of his close friend Matthew.
In addition to being friends on the show, they were close in real life and were neighbors at the time of Matthew’s death, both living in Pacific Palisades.
Matt was the first of the Friends cast to publicly pay tribute to Matthew following the heartbreaking news of his death.
On Instagram, he wrote: ‘Matthew. I say goodbye with great regret. The times we spent together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.
‘It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I will never forget you. Never.
‘Spread your wings and fly brother, you are finally free. Much love. And I guess you’ll keep the $20 you owe me.

talking to The telegraphNatalie Trice, public relations and image management consultant, said: “Grief is a very personal journey, and no one can really understand what someone is going through behind the scenes, and as a star this must be really difficult.”
Matt hasn’t appeared in any film or TV projects since the Friends HBO reunion special in 2021, and previously said he was “taking some time off.”
While the actor, worth an estimated $85 million, never needs to work again, his friends are said to worry that without a project to focus on, the pain could consume him.
Trice said, “The entire Friends cast has faced challenges beyond their iconic roles because the show’s success set an incredibly high bar: How do you shake that label and find equally defining projects?”
This is not the first time that Matt has raised concerns for not being seen in public frequently.
He previously told an interviewer in 2012 that he is more introverted than his Joey Tribbiani character that made him so famous.

‘They think I’m depressed, sad or upset, but I’m just not excited to go out in front of an audience and do a TV show. That’s not who I am.’
