Top jockey Ben Allen and model Delainey Mary have made their mark as the hottest new couple in Australian sport by hanging out together on and off the track in recent weeks.

Mary, who is signed to prestigious agency Chadwick Models, lit up the red carpet with Allen at the Victorian Racing Awards in August as the pair launched their romance with a bang.

She also posted a video on Instagram hugging him in heartfelt celebration when he won the hoop and took a big win in the Memsie Stakes at Melbourne’s Caulfield track on August 31, captioning the post: ‘I’m SO proud of you!!! ! You earned this love with a series of red heart emojis.

She has also been quoted as saying, “I love racing and I love everything from fashion to horses.”

The Memsie Stakes victory was Allen’s second Group One win as his career goes from strength to strength.

Mary and Allen met when she went to visit the horses owned by her mother Melissa Rosich and her stepfather, former Victoria Racing Club boss Steve Rosich, in Pakenham, on Melbourne’s southeastern outskirts.

The couple has been a couple since they met several months ago, the Herald of the sun reported, and Mary was front and center when Allen won the Tristarc Stakes on Lady in Pink at Caulfield last Saturday.

The couple later lived large at The Osborne bar in South Yarra, with Mary introducing her boyfriend to her family, including her sister Lexi, who is engaged to Western Bulldogs AFL star Rory Lobb, the publication said.

Allen has previously revealed that he started running through his family.

“I was practically born into this,” he said.

‘My dad trains (horses), my brother was a jockey, so that’s what I should have always been growing up.

“From the moment I started riding track, around age 13 or 14, I just lived it and breathed it.”

When asked what he likes most about being a jockey, he replied: “Celebrating the big wins, because you have to work really hard to achieve them.”

“I haven’t won that many at the highest level, but I’ve been lucky enough to win quite a few Group 2 and 3 games and I like to celebrate them properly.”

Allen performed as a DJ during the celebrations at Osborne following his Tristarc Stakes victory, but is unable to pursue his musical hobby as much as he would like.

“I’m trying not to do it as much because when I play I need to have a few drinks just to relax and feel comfortable up there, which is obviously not ideal for my weight,” he said.
