A British tourist who was on holiday with her husband in Greece died after falling in a hotel in Crete.
The woman, 65, was staying at the Hersonissos hotel before the tragic incident occurred.
Emergency services responded to the scene and the traveler was hospitalized in critical condition with serious injuries at the Venizelio hospital, according to local reports.
Doctors intubated her and took her to the Intensive Care Unit, where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday.

It comes after a British tourist died today while swimming at a Cyprus holiday resort.
The 62-year-old man was pulled from the water on a beach in Peyia, in the west of the island, after disappearing from sight.
He was taken to shore where emergency crews performed CPR, but the man did not survive. SigmaLive reported.
The man was then rushed to Paphos General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
