The fallout from revelations that a The Block team had previous experience with renovations has continued.
Newcomers Maddy and Charlotte, who joined the cast at the last minute after Jesse and Paige’s dramatic departure, were exposed in footage found by Haydn’s wife Chelsea.
A promotional video for a construction company shows the couple admitting to moving house, despite telling their fellow Blockheads that they are accountants.
And in Sunday’s episode, Haydn decided to question the two young women about the images.
“Last night I was watching videos of you girls,” he said.
‘I don’t know how they found that. How do you put two and two together?’, they said.
Haydn then asked if the girls were the company’s ambassadors, to which they replied no.
“Yeah, I think they danced a little bit about it,” Haydn told producers later.

“They’ve lied about their background, the experience they have and who knows what else.”
Blockheads responded last week to the revelations.

“They asked for advice on how to do things within a build, but they obviously knew everything.”
Haydn’s wife Chelsea discovered Maddy and Charlotte’s video on Google, and his Blockhead partner Ricky also felt the Sydney sisters had an unfair advantage.
‘H and I have never moved a house together. It takes weeks to know each person’s strengths when renovating,” says the 34-year-old plumber.
Despite the backlash, the sisters were defiant in their decision not to reveal their past experience.
‘We never lie. If others had asked about our experience, we would have shared it, but they never did. It’s not our place to tell them the nitty-gritty,” said Maddy, 25.
