Donald Trump has angered Taylor Swift fans by launching a new range of merchandise that appears to be inspired by the Eras tour.

In a viral post uploaded to X, TeamTrump, the official Trump campaign account, promoted its new ‘Trump Era’ t-shirt.

On the front of the white T-shirt is printed a collection of colorful images of the former leader during various moments of his presidency.

In the middle is a black-and-white photo of Trump with his fist raised and wearing a cap that says, “Make America Great Again.”

The print bears a striking resemblance to Taylor Swift’s iconic Eras tour poster, which later also appeared on her own merchandise.

Swift’s poster had the exact same design and color scheme as the one seen on Trump’s new merchandise, as well as the same script font beneath the collection of eye-catching images.

TeamTrump’s post urges “all Swifties for Trump” to get their shirt from the Trump National Committee’s website, where the garment is selling for up to $1,000 in donations.

According to the site, more than 181,000 people have already made their donations, which start at $45, and have been able to get a knockoff Taylor Swift T-shirt in exchange.

But Swifties on Platform X have slammed Trump for his antics, with some even calling for the singer to sue him.

One fan wrote: “I hope you get sued before you die. He’s about to enter his unemployed little fucker era.”

Another said: ‘You morons probably thought you were safe because the shirt falls under the parody category (which it does) but you left yourselves legally exposed by using his name in the text of the tweet. Enjoy the lawsuit. And before I tried to delete the tweet, I took a screenshot.’

“This shirt is a disgrace. I hope Donald gets everything he has taken away for committing an infraction. CATCH HIM!” commented a third.

Another chimed in: ‘I’m excited about the new Trump era, I hear it’s called the ‘era of lawsuits.’

This comes after Trump also recently came under fire for accusing Haitian immigrants of “eating pets” in Springfield, Ohio, a baseless claim that first appeared on social media.

“In Springfield, they’re eating the dogs. The people who came here are eating the cats,” the former president said. “They’re eating the pets of the people who live there.”

During Tuesday’s presidential debate, Kamala Harris was heard muttering “What? This is unbelievable,” before adding “how extreme” and laughing.

ABC News debate moderator David Muir chimed in to say, “I want to clarify that you mentioned Springfield, Ohio. And ABC News reached out to the city manager. He told us there have been no credible reports of specific allegations of pets being hurt, injured or mistreated by people.”

It was one of the most dramatic moments of a monumental night in the 2024 race, where Harris earned Taylor Swift’s coveted endorsement and was widely declared the winner of the showdown.

The megastar made the shocking announcement on Instagram after the ABC showdown, saying Democrats wanted to “execute babies” in the ninth month of pregnancy.

In a race that could be decided by miniscule margins, Swift’s endorsement could have huge ramifications for momentum less than eight weeks before Election Day.

The Trump campaign downplayed the endorsement, saying it was further evidence that Swift is part of the “Democratic elite.”
