Pro-Hamas protesters stormed the Israeli consulate in Chicago on Tuesday night cursing the Jewish nation while wearing black riot gear before burning an American flag.

The event marks the second consecutive day of protests against Israel and the DNC in the Windy City.

The group was part of the ‘Make it Great Like ’68!’ protest, which was announced during the first day of demonstrations against the DNC.

The anti-Israel demonstration was billed as a way to “shut down the Democratic National Convention over Gaza.”

Videos from the event show a violent and angry crowd of protesters aggressively confronting police, shouting in their faces in blatant attempts to escalate tensions.

Eventually, a group of activists formed a circle, placed an American flag on the concrete and doused it with flammable liquid before setting it on fire in front of police, media and bystanders standing around.

In the footage, a man can be seen amidst the chaos as he walks into the circle of protesters trying to rescue Old Glory and set it ablaze.

His efforts were thwarted by protesters who prevented him from retrieving the American banner.

As the chaos continued, police intervened to quell the protest.

The videos show agitated activists confronting officers, shouting at them and praising the Palestinian war effort.

Protesters later upped the ante and pushed police onto the sidewalk.

It was the second day in a row that protests in Chicago led to arrests.

On Monday, thousands of protesters descended on the city for the “March Against the Democratic National Convention.”

The event attracted so many people that hundreds of officers were on duty to contain the demonstrations in case they went wrong, which they did.

On Monday night, protesters were arrested after breaching the outer perimeter of the Democratic convention.

Dozens of police officers dressed in riot gear eventually pushed protesters from the broken barricade and repaired it as the remaining activists left the scene.

The Chicago Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
