A comedian, writer and former late-night host came out as gay on the last day of Pride month.

Amber Ruffin had been married to a man before finalizing her divorce last December.

The Omaha, Nebraska, native took to Instagram to share the news Sunday with her 360,000 followers with a direct message specifically directed at her haters.

“In what will surprise no one, I’m taking advantage of the last day of PRIDE to come out! Be proud of who you are little babies! I know I am!” Amber Ruffin wrote.

“And I can’t wait to be discriminated against for a new reason!” the comedian joked, alongside a series of rainbow gay pride flags and a photo of her wearing a tank top displaying the word “Queer.”

The well-known comedian’s announcement received support from a number of proud Hollywood stars, including singer and actress Cynthi Erivo.

‘Welcome baby love!! Bathrooms are on the left, refreshments on the right, grab a chair. DJ is taking requests,’ she wrote.

‘Yay!! Happy Pride, love!! I hope you feel so loved and supported,’ said Tan France of the Netflix series Queer Eye.

“Welcome home, Amber! Our team is getting hotter and smarter! Happy Pride, darling,” said actress Sophia Bush.
