Paul Hogan’s grandson has been convicted of two separate theft offenses after being caught shoplifting at Coles and Myer.
Jake Paul Hogan, 34, whose father is one of five children shared by the Crocodile Dundee star and his first wife Noelene Hogan, was arrested twice in three days in Sydney’s CBD earlier this month.
He was found guilty of theft in absentia at Downing Center Local Court on Monday.
The carpenter was first arrested on February 5 after a Coles worker saw him stealing two Dare Iced Coffees without paying at Coles World Square.
‘The accused opened [a] 500ml [Dare] and began consuming the beverage while walking toward another hallway,” according to court documents.

‘[Hogan] He then placed the larger 750ml bottle inside his fanny pack and the defendant left the store without attempting to pay for the items.
According to court documents, Hogan told the witness that he was homeless and had no money, and claimed to police that he had not eaten in a couple of days.
He also claimed to police he paid $380 in rent a week out of a weekly income of $500 for carpentry work and around $500 in Centrelink benefits.
Hogan was charged with theft and released on bail with strict conditions, but three days later he was caught robbing Myer in George Street.
On February 8, police were called after Myer’s security “strongly suspected” Hogan was removing security tags from clothing items.
According to court documents, police found a black Puma hat, a black KSCY t-shirt, a black Nena & Pasadena t-shirt and a pair of green KSCY cargo shorts, with a total value of $259.97.
The police informed him that he was being held for shoplifting and breaching his bail conditions, and issued him with an official police caution.
Jake was arrested in Coles World Square earlier this month for stealing two Dare Iced coffees after claiming he was homeless.
Court documents state that Hogan is a “repeat property offender, which supports his addiction to illicit drugs.”
He has 12 previous charges in the state of New South Wales and is due to appear in court in March.
Paul Hogan also has a son, the rebellious Chance, 24, with his second wife, Linda Kozlowski.
In October last year a video emerged of Chance covered in cuts and bruises after visiting a hospital in the United States.
The worrying clip came after he was forced to deny being a ‘devil worshiper’ and post satanic images on social media, was seen vomiting outside a venue where his band had performed in 2018 and smoking a pipe on the balcony from Paul’s house. when he was a teenager in 2015.
