A 23-year-old influencer has shocked the internet after revealing how much money she makes in a month and, even more surprising, how she spends it.

Kelsie Flaim, better known as @thehungryfoodie on TikTok, posts food review videos, particularly focused on fast food, chain restaurants, and processed foods.

In the video, titled What I Spend in a Month When I’m 23 and Live in Los Angeles, the influencer said she earned $21,343 before taxes in April.

Their housing costs dropped to about $3,000, with $2,750 spent on rent, $38 on utilities and $60 on Wi-Fi, for a total of $2,848.

He then broke down how much he spent on food and drinks, which amounted to just over $613. She spent $282.23 on groceries, $304.96 on eating out, and $26.02 on DoorDash.

Flaim spent $690 on her hair, $38 on her eyebrows and $480 on weekly massages, which totaled $1,208.

For his nights out, he spent $102.42 on Ubers. She doesn’t drink alcohol, so going out wasn’t a big expense for the foodie influencer.

Between monthly car payments, car insurance and gas, he spent about $640. On the TikTok you can see the influencer traveling like a princess passenger in a Lamborghini.

Its subscriptions, including Amazon, Apple, iCloud, and Sirius XM, cost $52.83 total.

His miscellaneous expenses, including random activities and Amazon orders, cost him $165. He also donated $300 to charities, which included making care packages or buying food for the homeless.

After adding all this up, Flaim spent $6,027.58 in total, with the rest of the money going toward savings and paying taxes. Taking into account the fact that he would earn $13,516 a month after taxes living in Los Angeles, Flaim would have approximately $7,000 a month saved.

Interestingly, Flaim does not make any money from her reviews of Crumbl cookies, a food for which she is particularly known.

Users in their comments section didn’t hesitate about what they thought about their monthly income, as they said it’s not an accurate representation of what an adult in their 20s typically earns.

“Bro, that’s all my income for a whole year,” one user commented.

“Twenty thousand dollars to talk about crumbled cookies,” another commented.

Most of the comments asked the same question: how did this foodie make so much money?

Scrolling through the comments, he responded to one user simply with “this,” referring to his TikTok page.

Another user asked her if all her money came from her sponsored posts, to which she responded “yes.”

It’s safe to say that Kelsie Flaim has found her sweet spot when it comes to her career.
