A woman was allegedly stabbed by a trio of knives who are still at large after robbing three supermarkets and stealing a car.
Police are searching for three men believed to be traveling around Melbourne’s outer suburbs in a stolen white Mercedes hatchback.
There are unconfirmed reports that at least one person has been stabbed and Victoria Police’s air wing has been sent to assist in the search.

CCTV footage shows the men jumping over the counter of an IGA supermarket in Cheltenham, in Melbourne’s south, and assaulting a worker at 4pm.

The same men reportedly immediately headed to a Dockendorff grocery store on Cochran Street in Brighton, 6 miles away, to commit a second robbery.
Detectives are currently inside the Dockendorff grocery store, where a young employee is believed to have been stabbed during the incident.
Officers are interviewing other workers who were present at the time and also reviewing CCTV footage of the incident.
The men are also believed to have attacked a third supermarket in Burwood.
A police helicopter is hovering over Melbourne trying to locate the men who are still at large and a large presence remains outside the Dockendorff store.

CCTV from the group’s first robbery inside Cheltenham IGA shows the men jumping over the counter and raiding the store’s cash register.
One of the men can also be seen punching a worker before allegedly asking him for the key to the tobacco cabinet.
They were in the store for about a minute before fleeing to Burwood to commit their second robbery.
