Molly Ringwald turned heads as a runway model Tuesday at the Batsheva New York Fashion Week show.
The Sixteen Candles star, 55, who was recently compared to Lily Allen, channeled the ’80s in a purple dress inspired by the decade.
The Golden Globe nominee was one of the models over 40 years old chosen for the presentation.
Ringwald’s bright plum look featured voluminous shoulder pads and a belt that cinched her slender waist.
She also modeled a second look, a more modern black dress with a lace cuff and veil.

The look was completed with a pair of white pointed toe high heels.
Her signature red-toned locks were straight and styled with face-framing bangs.
Each of the slinky dresses the longtime actress wore reached below the knee.
With the short-sleeved black ensemble, the Breakfast Club star wore black heels with lace detail.
Ringwald looked beautiful with her face made up with lots of black mascara and matte pink lipstick.
Her long almond-shaped nails were covered in bright red polish as she walked confidently down the runway.
Joining her on the catwalk were journalist Amy Fine Collins and actress Ione Skye.
She also modeled a second look, a more modern black dress with a lace cuff and veil.

Ione Skye, 53, also looked phenomenal while wearing a purple cape look with white trim.
The new Batsheva collection was inspired by the divine feminine and borrowed from historical references while infusing modern fabrics and colors.
Earlier that day, Ringwald attended the Helmut Lang show, which took place in Brooklyn.
He wore a black suit with a mustard yellow button-down shirt underneath and added black leather fingerless gloves.
Ringwald currently stars in the FX series Feud: Capote vs. The Swans.
