Most famously, he played the scheming mailman Newman on Seinfeld for seven years alongside the NBC show’s main cast, Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Michael Richards.
The sitcom ran for nine seasons from 1992 to 1998. Knight appeared in 45 of Seinfeld’s 180 episodes.
