A young Australian has had to fight for his life in hospital with critical brain injuries following a horrific motorbike accident in Bali.

Dylan suffered “extensive and life-threatening injuries” in the October 29 crash and is currently on life support in a Balinese hospital.

He will undergo critical surgery to remove a large blood clot putting pressure on his brain while his desperate family works to bring him home.

TO GoFundMe has been created to help with the costs of Dylan’s surgery, which is estimated to be more than $40,000.

The campaign has raised more than $120,000 in just 24 hours.

“Dylan could come home after this surgery and that would be a huge positive step for him and his family,” organizer Steven Brown wrote.

‘But bringing it home will cost between $50,000 and $100,000, so your donations to help with this mean a lot to us.

“We desperately want our beautiful, kind son and brother to be home and alive.”

Dylan is seen poolside and posing with family members in vacation photos before the accident shared on GoFundMe.

In the last photo, he is seen connected to a variety of tubes in a hospital bed where it is understood he will be prepared for surgery.

Mr. Brown expressed his gratitude to those who had donated, with special mention to an anonymous donor who gave $40,000.

‘To all the donors so far and the big anonymous donor. “We are crying with gratitude for your generosity,” he said.
