A woman tried to grab a street child at a bus stop in rural New South Wales.
The 12-year-old girl was waiting for the bus on Mooloobar Street in Narrabri about 7.45am on Wednesday when the woman stopped her in her black ute and offered her a lift.
When he refused, she got out of the car and tried to grab him.

The boy ran away and the police were later notified. Officers are now investigating.
The woman is described as white, about 160cm tall and with short gray hair.
Her ute was badly scratched and had a pink sticker on the back.
