In another post she said the food was “so bad” and “unhealthy”. There was “a thick layer of oil on top”, which made them all sick. She added, “My friend has written an email to zomato. They have not returned and their support system is also not good. @zomato is the least affected now.” Ms Toshniwal also shared photos of the food order and a screenshot of the mail sent to the food delivery company.

Zomato took note of this and said they would look into the matter. “I can’t express how disappointed we are that you’ve had to go through all this trouble, Nikita. We are here to save you. Please give us some time to investigate the matter and we will get back to you as soon as possible.’
Since being shared, her post has attracted several comments from social media users.
“When I get food like that, I just throw it away. It may seem like a waste of food, but when it comes to health, you can’t compromise. I talk to Zomato, they usually refund it. I then blacklist that restaurant list and never order from there. Simple Read the terms and conditions of zomato,” said a user.
“Next time you order from a better place, could it be? Leaving a bad review for the restaurant and moving on might be your best bet.
