She is part of the revolutionary WNBA rookie class led by Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.
While Reese and Clark get most of the headlines, it was Brink who was selected second overall in April’s WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks. Clark was selected by the Indiana Fever with the first pick.
Brink’s rookie season did not go as planned as she tore her ACL in June and was forced to miss the rest of the season.
The Sparks’ faint postseason hopes faded after Brink’s injury, with Los Angeles finishing last in the WNBA with a record of 8-32.
