Dramatic footage captured the moment a man rescued two dogs from a burning house after the property was engulfed in a fierce fire.
The terrifying inferno began in the garage of the Holland Close home in Winthrop, south Perth, about 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The enormous flames quickly spread throughout the building while a woman and her son were inside.
The man helped the couple escape the house, but his two dogs ran back inside as the fire began to intensify.

It is understood the resident returned home from a doctor’s appointment shortly before the fire ripped through the house, it said. 7 news.
A shocking video showed the moment the local hero bravely returned to the house to rescue the two dogs.
In the images, the man is seen barefoot in a dark-colored T-shirt and shorts leaving the front of the burning house carrying a dog in each hand to safety.
Firefighters responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames around 6:20 p.m. to prevent the fire from reaching surrounding properties.
Terrifying images show the fire burning uncontrollably, tearing apart parts of the roof of the single-storey house.
Witnesses reported seeing flames up to 20m high and it took only a few minutes for the fire to completely engulf the property.
Thick plumes of black smoke billowed into the sky as nearby residents watched in horror, and dark smoke could be seen several kilometers away in nearby suburbs.
“I’ve never seen anything like it before, it went up so fast,” resident Phoebe said.
“Everyone was very somber because it was very sad.”
A Western Australian police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia that officers are not investigating the fire at this time.
Department of Fire Emergency Services fire investigator Stuart Parks praised the efforts of firefighters who battled the blaze.

‘The houses on both sides [of the property] “They were in danger, so the firefighters did a fantastic job containing it,” he said.
Seven fire crews battled the fire before it was extinguished.
A DFES spokeswoman told the Daily Mail it is not yet known what caused the fire, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
The house fire is a new blow for the resident, who was apparently hit by a car four months ago and has since been recovering from the incident.
Relatives and fire investigation officers visited the home Wednesday after most of the property was reduced to rubble.
Officers were seen taking photographs and examining parts of the home.
