Australians are creating glamorous waves with a new Kmart hair styling product that works while you sleep.
OXX Haircare Heatless Curling Irons, $8, are a damage-free way to style your hair on a budget.
Georgia Clay shared her new beauty find on TikTok, where she tried out Kmart’s 36-piece hair styling tool for the first time.
Georgia simply twirled strands of her long, thick hair through the fluorescent wave tubes before letting them sit for a few hours.
“It’s really hard to get started, but once you get the hang of it, it’s really fun and easy,” Georgia said.
“There’s no way I’m sleeping in this, it would be too uncomfortable.”
She then removed the shiny wave bands to reveal a full head of soft waves achieved without damaging her hair.
Georgia recommended starting with slightly damp hair for longer lasting and more dramatic results.

The 36-piece kit works best on shoulder-length hair and fans love it for easy, glamorous waves.
People who already own the Haircare heatless curling irons praised how easy and effective they were.
“I put them in my daughter’s hair while it was wet and left them there for a couple of hours and they were fire,” said one mom.
“They work… I have very thick and long hair, I bought two packs thinking I would need more, one pack is surprisingly enough,” another woman said.
“I love them. You have to wet your hair and use hairspray before putting them on. If you do it right, they stay that way all day,” said one.
Some thought the product was better suited for use on medium-length hair, as wavy curlers only extend to the shoulders.
Others thought Kmart’s styling tool offered the same results as simply braiding wet hair and leaving it on overnight.
“Braids would be faster, cost zero dollars and get the same results,” one woman said.
“It doesn’t give that result at all, it is similar, but it is not the same at all,” said another woman.
People who loved curlers did not recommend leaving them in while sleeping.
“I tried sleeping in these slippers once and it was the worst night of my life,” one woman said.
