A Westfield has been closed following reports of an armed man in the area.
Westfield Marion in Adelaide, South Australia, was evacuated after a gunman was seen at the David Jones store.
A shopper claimed the incident had taken place on the second floor of the store and he saw a security guard running up the escalator from level one.
“The staff were great, but people certainly panicked and ran for all the exits,” they said.
Movies being shown at a nearby cinema were immediately stopped and patrons were evacuated.
