Wayne Rooney’s eldest son Kai put in an impressive performance in an under-14 match for Manchester United.
The former England striker’s 14-year-old son scored a hat-trick and provided two assists in United’s thrilling 6-4 victory over Everton.
Kai signed for the club in 2020, following in the footsteps of his father, who is United’s all-time leading scorer and the only player to have scored 250 goals for the Reds.
With his recent stellar performance, Kai demonstrated his ability to find the back of the net, further improving his goal tally for the season.
Sharing his achievements on Instagram, Kai highlighted his crucial role in securing victory for the Red Devils youngsters.
The young man hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a soccer star.

This impressive performance comes on the heels of his previous outstanding performance, in which he scored two goals and contributed two assists in a convincing 6-0 victory against Leeds two months earlier.
Kai revealed: “I could also play on the wing, but I’m mainly a striker who scores goals.”
The young man mentioned that it was his father’s advice that helped him: “It’s a lot about scoring goals because he was pretty good at scoring goals.” It’s mostly advice on that. He is preparing me to enter professional football with the right mentality.”
‘He is helping me a lot. He watched the last game and has been watching the games. He says that he is satisfied with all of them.
“My dreams are to win the Premier League and the World Cup.” Kai added.
