The ‘devastated’ boyfriend of a young woman who died in a horrific car crash has broken his silence to pay tribute to a ‘beautiful’ and ‘warrior’ soul.

Sophie-Lee Fullagar was one of four people who died in a car crash at Wardell, near Ballina, northern New South Wales, on February 24.

It is understood the 24-year-old was traveling in a Mazda BT50 ute with three men, including her ex-boyfriend, when the car lost control at high speed.

Fullagar’s grieving boyfriend, Jay Bee, told Daily Mail Australia he could “feel” something had happened the morning she was murdered.

Fullagar’s boyfriend Jay Bee (pictured together) described her as a “beautiful soul” and said he could “feel” when she died.

‘I felt it. “Someone told me she was in the accident and I could feel in my heart that she was gone,” she said.

‘I love that girl so much. I wish she could come back and tell him to stay home.

Fullagar divided her time between her boyfriend’s house in Byron Bay and her mother’s in Ballina.

Bee described Fullagar as having a “beautiful little girl” with “such a good soul” as she shared photos of their time together.

“She didn’t need to die so young,” he said.

“I have spent the last three days crying my eyes out. I asked my mom, “Why, why would this happen?”

“The only thing he could tell me was that sometimes things like this happen and people are called back to God.”

Some of his favorite times with Mrs. Fullagar were spent searching for her favorite flower, the frangipani.

“She loves flowers and she really loves frangipanies,” he said.

‘We would go looking for them and try to find the smallest ones because she thought they were cute.

“She used to love looking for the big ones, now she loves looking for the small ones.”

Bee spent the days after Fullagar’s death reflecting on their “beautiful” relationship.

“She always had a smile and everyone was drawn to her,” he said.

‘She has the best smile and the best laugh, she was always very happy.

“No one wants to hear about the difficult parts of her life, but she endured a lot and still came out every day with a smile on her face.”

He described her as “someone who would do anything for anyone.”

“Sophie would give you the shirt she’s wearing and never worry about herself,” Mr. Bee said.

‘She never complained. She is such a beautiful soul.’
