Shocking security footage captured the moment a woman ran over the owner of a Porsche and fled in the vehicle after claiming she wanted to buy it.
The episode unfolded on September 6 in Toronto, Canada, when a suspect, described as a 5’6″ South Asian woman, showed up at the victim’s home after seeing her SUV advertised on AutoTrader.
When she arrived at the home, she can be heard on Ring camera footage telling the homeowner: “Hey, I’m here about the Porsche.”
The video shows the driveway as she and the owner check out the 2022 Porsche Cayenne, when she decided to escape seconds after the owner left the passenger side.
Police are searching for the woman after she arrived at a home in Toronto, Canada, this month to answer an advertisement for a Porsche Cayenne SUV before fleeing with the vehicle.
The suspect aggressively backed up while the owner was in the back of the Porsche, sending it across the street as she tried to escape.
Moments before the shocking incident, the woman reportedly told the homeowner she was waiting for her father, and police say they are investigating another vehicle that was outside the victim’s home as a possible accomplice.
The victim, who has not been identified, appeared to suspect the woman was driving away as soon as she exited the vehicle, as she attempted to open the driver’s side door before moving to the back.
When she reached the rear of the vehicle, the woman aggressively reversed into the street, dragging the victim with her.
Apparently, one of the rear wheels caught him and he was left lying on the street.
Police say they are also searching for another gray SUV that they believe was an accomplice in the robbery.
Police said the woman fled the scene in the stolen vehicle and is being sought by police along with a gray SUV that police described as an accomplice vehicle.
The victim told CTV News Toronto he suffered injuries to his elbow, hands and legs and required medical attention following the incident.
