Travis Kelce wants his girlfriend Taylor Swift to beef up her security after a planned terror attack around his Eras tour in Austria was foiled.
Three teenagers were arrested in Vienna for attacking shows earlier this month, prompting Swift to cancel her three scheduled performances in the city. Before that, three girls were stabbed to death at a Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England.
Swift said she felt “tremendously guilty” about not playing in Austria, but Kelce, who was in the US preparing for the NFL season at the time, wants her to focus on staying safe. It was previously reported that he spent “hours” on the phone consoling her when she had to cancel shows.
‘Travis advises you to make your own safety a top priority and wants you to get even more security,’ Life and Style cited an inside source close to the couple as if saying.
“There’s not much he can do but pray that she’s okay. It’s been so awful that he hated having to sit there and do nothing but wait.

‘He wanted to run to her side to protect her, but obviously he couldn’t do it.
‘She had a lot of bodyguards to keep her safe, but still, he felt quite helpless.’
The source added that Kelce was relieved that Swift canceled her tour dates in Austria.
“Money isn’t everything and Travis is proud of Taylor for doing the right thing and canceling her shows,” they added.
“Putting his life and the lives of his fans at risk is simply not worth it, no matter how disappointing it is to people or how much money it costs him.”
Swift wrapped up her European Eras Tour in London last weekend and now has nearly two months off before resuming her live shows in Florida.
He is expected to attend the NFL season opener, where Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Sept. 5.
Swift cheered on Kelce at 13 games last season, even racing back to Las Vegas from Tokyo (where he’d been on tour) for his Super Bowl win.
Kelce is currently preparing for the new NFL season that will begin with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Kelce, 34, and his Chiefs team are aiming to make football history this season by becoming the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
He is expected to spend more time with Kelce in Kansas City as his road trip comes to a close and his football commitments increase.
Kelce owns a $6 million mansion in a gated community in Kansas City, where he will reside during the season.
