Two men were tragically killed in separate workplace incidents within hours of each other in Western Australia on Wednesday.
A 32-year-old man was crushed to death at a construction site on Carrington Street in the Perth suburb of O’Connor at around 2.40pm.
It is understood there were only a handful of people at the scene at the time of the incident.
Unfortunately his companions could not save him and he died at the scene.
Worksafe investigators visited the site and will continue their investigations on Thursday.

In an unrelated incident, a man in his 20s died while working in the state’s Wheatbelt region at a concrete manufacturing plant in Dalwallinu at around 12:40 p.m.
It is understood his death was linked to an incident involving a forklift carrying a heavy load.
Police officers who arrived at the scene on Huggett Drive declared the man deceased and secured the scene.
Worksafe investigators traveled to the town, 250 kilometers northeast of Perth, on Thursday morning to begin their investigation into the accident.
The number of workplace deaths in WA fell to 21 in the 22/23 financial year, down from 29 in 21/22.
