Three people, including two children, died in a terrible accident.
A van and a sedan collided on Dalby-Jandowae Road in Jimbour East, northwest of Toowoomba in Queensland’s Western Downs region, about 10.50am on Monday.
Five people were evaluated at the scene, four of them with life-threatening injuries.
Queensland Police have confirmed that three of the four people have died, including two children and a man who were traveling in the sedan.
A woman who was also in the sedan was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The sole occupant of the ute was taken to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Drivers have been asked to avoid the area where the road will be closed for several hours on Monday as investigations continue.
