Timothée Chalamet put on a lively performance Wednesday while filming new scenes for his new biopic, Marty Supreme, in New York City.
The Dune star, 28, looked almost unrecognizable as he transformed into famous ping-pong player Marty Reisman, who inspired the upcoming film.
While touring the Big Apple, the actor swapped his usual avant-garde outfits for vintage-style clothing, and the streets and cars around him were also decorated to look straight out of the 1950s.
Timothée, who recently became an uncle, wore a pale blue shirt, completely unbuttoned to reveal his white vest underneath.
He added a pair of tailored green pants with a brown belt and sleek black shoes, while carrying a leather briefcase.

Along with Timothée, Marty Supreme also stars the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Tyler the Creator, and magician Penn Jillette.
The film is set within the ping-pong culture of the 1950s, but the The plot has not been officially released, and IMDB states that it is “under wraps.”
But it is believed to be a “fictional original, rather than a biopic” of Marty’s life.
Marty, who died aged 82 in 2012, was an icon of American table tennis, winning the US men’s singles championship in 1958 and 1960 and the US hard hitting champion in 1997.
He won five bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Championships and claimed 22 major table tennis titles between 1946 and 2002, including two US Opens and one British Open.
