A therapist has revealed the ultimate red flag that indicates you’re ‘undateable’.
Janet Martinez from Texas has built a following of more than 45,500 fans on TikTok, where she posts as the Curse Counselor.
She recently revealed the truth about what makes someone unsuitable for dating material, telling viewers: ‘You’re not going to like this.’
The expert then went on to explain why you need to make sure you are ‘fully healed’ before entering a new relationship.
Therapist Janet Martinez, from Texas, has revealed the ultimate red flag that indicates you ‘can’t date’
In the clip, which was posted earlier this month, Janet wasted little time launching her insight.
‘If yyou’re still looking at your phone and checking your messages and checking your emails every few minutes to see if they got through, you’re not cured, you can’t date, you’re not dating material, you’re not supposed to be in the dating world,’ she shared.
“You haven’t worked enough on yourself yet. You accept the crumbs from someone else’s table.’
Janet continued her no-nonsense approach as she dished: ‘This main giveaway to me is anxiety.
‘It is the constant control. It’s always surprising. They’re always in your head, and you tell yourself, “I’m not contacting you,” and you block them for a day, and then you unblock them just to see if they reached out.
‘I can see you. You know what I’m talking about. Again my dear, you are just not cured. You are not cured, you are not.’
The therapist continued: ‘When you came into the world in this state, you will not find the peace and happiness that you admire in others.
‘You’ll never find it yourself. What separates the confident people from you is the fact that those people went out and built their own tables.
Her video received more than 5,860 likes and lots of comments from her followers. Some followers admitted they felt called out in the video
‘The chosen materials. They constructed their table in a way that made them happy, and then they invite people to sit with them – or not, because sometimes they don’t even want anyone to sit with them.
‘They’re just sitting alone and they’re having a good time. They don’t wait for the crumbs from someone else’s table.
She concluded: ‘Again, I know it’s hard. I know it’s tough love, but I’m here for you.’
