The Undertaker has revealed he is desperate to wrestle again, four years after retiring, but admits he doesn’t want to risk embarrassing himself.

The 59-year-old hung up his boots (and his trademark MMA-style gloves) in 2020 after what was one of the most legendary careers in sports entertainment.

The WWE Hall of Famer, whose real name is Mark Calaway, now spends his time podcasting, pulling back the curtain on the business, and working as an ambassador for the company where he made his name.

He has been a WWE staple for several decades, becoming one of the most famous faces of all time and continues to play a role today.

But since he retired four years ago, ‘the Dead Man’ admits that he really wants to fight again, but he knows that his body has decomposed and that time has caught up with him.

I so want to be out there. I want to keep fighting,’ he told Chris Van Vilet. ‘Obviously, my body broke down and Father Time is undefeated.

“And I never wanted to be a parody of myself and I really took a chance on that in the end… Like the match I had with Goldberg in Saudi Arabia.

‘I should have been aware of the fact that his bell had been rung. I should have been smart enough to adapt and not try to get to where I was getting.’

As a result, the burning desire to wrestle again has also made it difficult for the former WWE Champion to even attend WWE live shows.

‘I fight. “I’ve struggled since retiring to be at live events,” she continued.

‘I was in the Rumble (this year) because I had a 1man dead show in Clearwater. I stayed the night and was at the Rumble and by the time the first match was over, I was already gone.

“Because internally, my mind is telling me, ‘You should be getting ready. “You should get out.”
