The Bachelor’s Alisha Aitken-Radburn has revealed some of her unusual food cravings, days after announcing she’s expecting her first child with husband and former co-star Glenn Smith.
The former Labor employee turned reality star, 31, took to Instagram on Sunday to respond to a fan who asked her if she experienced any strange cravings during her first trimester.
She shared three photos that demonstrate the type of food she craves: a plate of sliced lemons, waffles and cake with capers, and a glass of milk.
“I’ve definitely preferred sour and salty over sweet so far, which, to be fair, is pretty standard for me who is also not pregnant,” she began her caption.
“That first one, literally sliced lemon with salt (I feel so sorry for my dentist, Dr. Luke), is usually in my rotation, but I swear I could eat one a day right now and I’m holding back,” she continued.

He described drinking cups full of milk as his “wildest” craving yet, admitting he has been secretly consuming the drink at work.
“I had to start sneaking around, pouring milk into cups at work trying to disguise it as a 3pm coffee so my colleagues would still want to work with me,” he reflected.

Alisha explained the intensity of her cravings in a separate Instagram Story post, writing, “On top of this, I was definitely not prepared for how obsessed I had become with certain foods.”
‘If I have a craving, I cannot continue with my day until I have satisfied the need. A good example: birria tacos. I saw a video of them and I couldn’t do anything else until they were in my mouth,’ he lamented.

‘We’ve been trying for five months and we’re grateful it happened. The months that go by are hard,” she began.
‘Before trying to conceive, I had no idea how black and white the process can be. You get your period and you regroup for another month.’
She then talked about some of the challenges she and Glenn had faced while trying to conceive.
The reality star later shared a post on Instagram revealing her September 27 due date and providing insight into her fertility journey.
‘I was immersed in Reddit threads and using multiple apps to track my cycle. I’ve learned a lot, I thought Glenn might sneeze and I’d get pregnant, but that’s definitely not the case.’
Alisha added that they wouldn’t find out the sex of the baby because they wanted it to be a surprise.
After being portrayed as a ‘villain’ on The Bachelor, Alisha redeemed herself with brilliant appearances on the spin-off show Bachelor in Paradise in 2019 and 2020, and married her co-star Glenn Smith in April last year.
