An Australian comedian has banned anyone over 85 from attending his stand-up shows after he was relentlessly booed during a concert.
Blake Pavey, popular on TikTok, shared a video on the social media platform this week showing him being repeatedly attacked by an older man in the audience at a recent show.
The unhappy audience member joked, “I wish you had some talent” and “say something funny, buddy.”
Things only deteriorated further when the comedian responded, “How does the oldest idiot here have the lowest IQ?” adding: “T**t is such a f**king rude man.”

Pavey responded: “An American is an entitled jerk.” What a surprise. Sorry, I’m trying to listen, but we have a dementia patient in the room.
‘I wish you were funny mate!’ the old man said and Pavey quickly replied, “I wish you weren’t acting, but we can’t all have what we want.”
After sharing a video of the unfortunate situation on TikTok, Pavey decided that she was now going to impose an age limit on her concerts.
‘Since this meeting I have set an age limit of 85 years at my shows!’ he explained in his TikTok caption.

Pavey received a lot of support in her TikTok comments, with one person writing: “I will never understand why people think it’s a good idea to start a verbal fight with people who are professionally funny and witty.”
Another said: “It’s okay but he handled it so well I’m really impressed,” while one more wrote: “He ate it and left no well-cooked crumbs.”
