The Melbourne It girl prefers to be known for her own merits, rather than for being someone’s partner.
“I know that in football there are a lot of girlfriends and they call them WAGs, but in tennis there aren’t many and you never see someone called that,” he told Herald of the sun on Tuesday.
“I like having my own name and not being someone else’s partner,” she continued.
Elsewhere in the interview, Dal Sasso spoke about the challenges of maintaining a long-distance relationship while Kokkinakis, 28, travels the world with her tennis career.

“We just had a good month together and I already miss him; long distance is really hard,” Hannah told the publication.
“Thanasi is really dedicated to his tennis and is putting everything into it and I am very proud of him,” she added.

Thanasi and Hannah went public with their romance last March while attending Glamor on the Grid together in Melbourne.
Hannah said she and Thanasi met “a few months ago” and that she’s been traveling with him “for a while.”
Last May, Thanasi paid tribute to Hannah after winning her first victory at the French Open, admitting that she was his “first girlfriend, probably.”
‘I’m a late bloomer, I guess you could say, so I’m trying, but that also brings its challenges. But she’s been great,’ she said.
