Taylor Swift’s elementary school teachers spoke to CBS Philadelphia about the superstar as a child.
Her teachers, music teacher Barbara Kolvek and her third-grade teacher, Heather Brown, said how proud they were of their former student.
Barbara revealed that Taylor “always wrote poetry, always.” Even in music class, even when she shouldn’t,” she said, laughing.

He looked back at the yearbooks and revealed that Taylor said in first grade that she wanted to be a stockbroker, and in second grade she had switched to being a singer.
“I feel like I gave him a little spark or encouragement to do what he was doing,” he added.
Heather, a third-grade teacher, said Taylor was in the first class she taught at the same private school where Barbara taught.
