Taylor Swift mentioned Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as one of her dream prom dates in a resurfaced interview from 2011, when she was just 21 years old.
A fan posted the old clip on TikTok this week, in the wake of Diddy’s downfall amid allegations that he participated in crimes including rape and sexual assault.
diddy was indicted on charges including sex trafficking in September, months after a video was recorded. It arose from him violently assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

When asked which stars she would bring to prom, Swift chose a “group” of people, including Diddy, who she said had “always been very nice to me.”

During the celebrity quiz, which was nicknamed “Quick Decision,” Ray asked, “Who would you have taken to prom?” and Swift responded, “It would be a group and it would be a really fun group.”
He then gathered photos of Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Sheryl Crow, Justin Timberlake and Diddy and held them up proudly.
While Swift was in the process of choosing the photos, but before selecting Diddy, Ray joked that the Teenage Dream singer was “going on a weird prom date.”
Once Swift held up all the photos, Ray exclaimed, ‘No way! Look at that! That’s a group! Now, why, why this spectacular display of people?
Swift responded by offering individual praise to each of their choices, and when she reached Diddy, she said, “Diddy has always been very nice to me.”
‘He’s a gentleman, isn’t he? “He’s a lovely gentleman,” Ray said, to which Swift added, “He’d really…be fun to be in the prom group.”

‘Oopsie,’ one TikTok user wrote, while another noted, ‘as a millennial we look up to these people. We didn’t know what was really happening. This is like fearless/speak now Taylor. She likes 19-21 here.

Diddy was arrested last month on federal charges of racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution.
He is awaiting trial at the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, a prison that previously held Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and R Kelly.
Appearing on the hit DailyMail.com podcast Diddy’s trialPrison expert Larry Levine said Diddy is visited by a psychiatric team every day.
“He’s not actually on suicide watch, but my inside source tells me that someone comes to visit him several times a day, you know, to make sure he’s okay,” Levine said on the podcast.
“My sources tell me that (Diddy) receives extra showers per week,” he alleged. ‘I don’t know how many. It probably varies. They are giving them additional privileges.
