The spacious Colonial-style home, located in Taftville, went on the market last month, but someone on Reddit was quick to notice an interesting detail about the abode that the real estate agent didn’t mention.
Turns out it used to be a funeral home, but its sinister past was conveniently left out of its scope. list.

He also included a Google Street View capture of the home, which included a sign out front that read: “Guillot Funeral Home.”

“The real estate sector forgot to mention a detail,” they wrote as a caption.
The post quickly went viral, garnering more than 5,000 likes and hundreds of comments, with some people quick to criticize the real estate agent for not being transparent about the home’s previous use.
“Some people who are superstitious or who believe in ghosts and spirits would like to know that information beforehand,” one person raged.
‘And maybe you don’t want to carry the stigma of living in a funeral home, as it’s not socially normative.
‘Or (maybe) you just don’t want to be (known as) the funeral home family who may repel other superstitious people.’
