Sophie Monk is spending a fortune on Lego collectibles – but she says it helps her concentrate.
The Love Island Australia star tells in this week’s edition of Women’s Day that although it is expensive, the hobby is fruitful.
“Buying Lego is actually an investment because they sell at incredible prices, so I think it’s one of my best financial decisions,” the 44-year-old said.
She added that building Lego sets helps her cope with her ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
“It’s because it keeps you busy with your hands and because you’re creating a little world — you can really focus,” he tells the publication.

Sophie added that her husband, Joshua Gross, is as much of a Lego nerd as she is.
“He’s also obsessed and has a Harry Potter collection, almost every F1 car, including the Batmobile… and I have an ice cream truck,” she says.
It comes after Sophie appeared on Channel Nine’s Lego Masters earlier this month.
Hidden under a helmet was Sophie, who gave “an absolute masterclass” in karting shortly before revealing herself to the stunned contestants.
The singer went on to offer advice to each of the teams.

“You might find it a little tricky, the chicane is quite severe…hopefully you have a lot of downforce because it prepares you very well to take the chicanes and master the high corners if you can handle the understeer,” he said.
‘If you control understeer, you will be sweet. It is easy!’ she added.
Sophie finished The Bachelorette with Stu Laundy and the couple dated for six months before going their separate ways, and has since found love with husband Joshua Gross.
Sophie and Joshua eloped to their home on the New South Wales Central Coast in March 2022.
