Sir Elton John made a surprise appearance at Dua Lipa’s concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday night, despite snubbing him at the Glastonbury Festival in 2023.
The singing sensation, 77, joined Dua, 29, on stage to perform their duet Cold Heart in front of the crowd.
Last year, Dua said she didn’t join Elton on stage at Glastonbury because she was “hosting a dinner with friends” instead.
Instead, Elton performed his song solo and asked the crowd to sing their part.
He said on stage: ‘The person I did this song with is not here, so I’m going to ask you to sing his part please and sing it out loud.’

Elton retired last year after his mammoth Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, but insisted he will still perform from time to time.
Dua and Elton couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces as they held hands on stage while singing their hit song.
Elton previously said: “I have been clear with my fans that whilst the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour is the culmination of my touring career, I still plan to perform live.” What this will entail I don’t know yet.’
At his last show in Stockholm, he told the crowd: “I’ll never go on tour again, but I might do something in the future, something one-off, but that’s miles away.”
‘I want to appreciate my family, my children, my husband, everything. I’ve earned it.’
Elton’s return to the stage comes after he joked that there is “not much left” of him as he is missing different organs due to his various health problems.
The Tiny Dancer singer referenced the various organs and body parts that were removed from him during a candid conversation following a screening of Elton John: Never Too Late at the 62nd New York Film Festival earlier this month.
The iconic artist confessed: ‘To be honest with you, there’s not much left of me.

She later changed her outfit and donned a cut-out black dress, adorned with silver studs, and a mesh skirt.
Dua surprised fans with her amazing performance.

‘In fact, the only thing I have left is my left hip. But I’m still here. And I can’t thank you (enough), you are the people who made me.”
At the annual film festival, Elton also delighted fans in attendance with his incredible vocal abilities as he took to the stage with a moving piano performance.
The Grammy winner also paid sweet tribute to her husband David Furnish and sons Zachary and Elijah for making him “the happiest man in the world.”
The Rocket Man icon told the audience that he’s “never felt happiness” like he feels now, and explained his decision to step away from live touring.
‘As you know, I decided to stop touring because I’m 77 years old, I’ve done everything there is to do, play. I have achieved it. “I’ve been there and done that,” he said.
‘I still have to make room because I’m still going to have music in my life.
‘But the most important thing in my life is David, Zachary and Elijah, and my family and friends. “I found utopia and I’m very excited.”
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Sir Elton was left with limited vision in one eye after battling a “serious eye infection”.
The hitmaker, who performed his final shows last summer, explained how he has spent the last few months “recovering at home.”

In a lengthy Instagram post, Elton shared: “Over the summer, I have been dealing with a serious eye infection which has unfortunately left me with limited vision in one eye.
‘I am recovering, but it is an extremely slow process and it will be some time before sight returns to the impacted eye.
“I am very grateful for the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family, who have taken such good care of me over the past few weeks.”
Elton concluded: “I have quietly spent the summer recovering at home and feel positive about the progress I have made in my healing and recovery so far.”
Although she retired from touring last year, she performed at her star-studded Oscar party in March.

As the publication spoke with her husband David Furnish in the 32nd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation oscar awards viewing party, revealed that the couple is always thinking about it.
David, 61, said: ‘A catalog musical, we are always looking at it. I haven’t found anything yet that really covers… I think if we wanted to do it, we’d want to do it in a way that was really innovative, really exciting and different.

Elton has a busy year ahead as his show Devil Wears Prada opens in Plymouth in July, followed by his musical Tammy Faye, about televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker, which heads to Broadway later this year.
Elton had trouble walking the red carpet at his own event after he underwent a knee replacement in January.
Giving an update on his health, David revealed that Elton will undergo a replacement on his other knee in a couple of weeks to get him fit for the summer.
He explained: ‘He’s doing amazing. He’s having another knee surgery in a couple of weeks and by the time summer comes, he’ll have two new knees. I think next year you’ll see him breakdancing across the carpet.
