Simone Biles has announced that her Netflix series has been renewed for a second season

Simone Biles has announced that a second part of her Netflix show will be released later this year.

The Olympic star revealed the news in a video on Wednesday, in which she referenced another hit Netflix show: Emily in Paris.

Biles filmed in several locations around Paris, including a luxury rooftop bar overlooking the Eiffel Tower, while visiting a clothing store, eating crepes and sampling pastries.

The first part of Simone Biles: Rising aired earlier this year in preparation for the Paris Olympics and received mostly positive reviews.

It charted the journey of the Team USA gymnast from her retirement at the Tokyo Games with the ‘Twisties’ to her preparation to compete again in the French capital.

The gymnast joined Emily in Paris to make the announcement.

She shocked the world when she withdrew from the Tokyo Games due to a mental block that made it dangerous to perform her high-flying routines.

Biles spoke candidly about her experience with mental health and gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at her relationship with husband Jonathan Owens.

And the show was such a hit that a second installment has already been confirmed for release on October 25, as Biles looks to build on her success in the French capital this summer.

She returned to the Olympic stage in Paris happy and healthy and won three golds – in the team event, all-around and vault – and took silver on floor after losing to Brazilian rival Rebeca Andrade by the narrowest of margins.

Biles is now back on US soil and came under fire for wearing a controversial custom-made jacket to support Owens and the Chicago Bears last week.

Biles attended the Bears’ preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Soldier Field on Saturday afternoon, but the Olympian made a fashion and soccer faux pas.

She won three gold medals (in the team event, all-around and vault) and took silver on the floor.

She appeared in support of Owens, wearing a custom jacket with black and white images of him printed on it.

The Olympic legend made a rookie mistake in the NFL, however, as several plays showed Owens in action for the Green Bay Packers, the Bears’ longtime rivals and his former team.

Owens played one season in Green Bay last year before moving to Chicago earlier this year, and Biles was seen regularly cheering him on at Packers games last season.

Biles, who is set to marry the safety in 2023, also revealed to her adoring fans that she won’t be able to attend as many of her husband’s games this season.

With just over two weeks until the 2024 season begins, the gymnastics icon admitted in a TikTok video that she’ll be too busy to cheer on her boyfriend at Soldier Field and on the road this year due to her post-Olympic duties.

“I don’t know how many sets I’ll be able to do because we’re going on tour in a few weeks and, in case you didn’t know, it’s the Gold Over America tour. I think we’re doing about 32 stops right now,” Biles said.
