Newly released footage from a Las Vegas daycare shows the moment a teacher allegedly picks up and violently shakes a little girl.
Footage from DJ’s Christian Preschool/Daycare shows 3-year-old Lilly Royal allegedly being vigorously lifted and swung back and forth by an unidentified teacher on April 19.
Kayla Zomerdyk and Nashawn Royal, the girl’s parents, were notified about the incident after another teacher reported it to the Henderson Police Department the same day.
Zomerdyk later said, “Obviously, seeing my son being snatched away like he was a little rag doll is obviously something you don’t want to see.” It will definitely make you angry.
‘They had the opportunity to be honest and direct. Being responsible for everything that happened that day and the previous ones, so that they missed that opportunity,’ Royal added.

After the video went viral, the daycare said 8NewsNow that the teacher has been fired.
But that’s not enough for distraught parents.
‘So firing the teacher to me is not justice, because the teacher was never fired until the video went viral.
“To me it is justice that the DJ Christian Center is closed completely,” said the upset mother.
The school also denied all allegations of child abuse and when asked why the incident occurred, said: “We are all human,” according to the channel.
