CCTV footage has revealed images of a getaway car dragging a policewoman along the ground after an alleged robbery at a petrol station.
Police were called to the closed service station in Golden Grove, in Adelaide’s east, at around 3am on Sunday following reports of sounds of an angle grinder and alarms being activated.
Police arrived at the scene on Golden Grove Road and found two men allegedly leaving the store through a hole in the blinds.
A man allegedly fled through the front yard but was arrested after a brief foot chase.
The second suspect jumped into the driver’s seat of a black Subaru pickup truck parked out front.
“Officers tried to stop him from driving, but he reversed and crashed into some bollards and fled the scene,” the police statement said.
CCTV footage from outside the service station showed a female police officer opening the front door of the vehicle and attempting to remove the suspect from it.

The suspect puts the car in reverse and begins to back out of the parking spot as the police hold on to the Subaru with all their might.
The officer was dragged along the road before the car slid between other parked cars and a bollard and fled the scene.
Police searched the area with the assistance of Dog Operations and PolAir and located the abandoned Subaru 9km away on Hannaford Hump Road, Gould Creek.
The Subaru is believed to have been stolen from Greenwith a few hours earlier.
A female police officer was left lying on the ground after trying to pull a man out of a suspected getaway car.
An angle grinder was found at the scene, which was allegedly used to enter the premises.
An ATM located inside the premises was also reportedly damaged.
A 48-year-old Holden Hill man has been charged with felony trespassing, theft and unlawful possession.
He was released on bail and is due to appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on October 31.
The driver of the alleged getaway vehicle remained at large Sunday night.
